Ellie's Spring Program

Its hard for me to believe that she is finishing pre-school
but tonight was her spring program and she did great.
Unfortunately, it means she is done with one part
of her schooling and entering another..
She will be fine and so will I, but it seems like yesterday I
held her in my arms and now she is graduating from
pre-school. Where does the time go...

My new band.....

My first Tri-athalon

Well, I accomplished what I did not know if I could do..
Jaime, my mom and I did the Danskin Tri-athalon on
Mother's Day this year. We did this as a relay sort of...
Jaime did the 1.4 mile swim, I did the 9 mile bike and then we
all 3 ended with the 2 mile run through the Magic Kingdom..
It was very rewarding and I think next year I will do the whole
thing with Jaime. Its going to be a Mother's day i will never forget..

This friend of mine sent me this email today about Noah...
I have always said my children are in a comatose state
when it comes to TV with Disney, Elmo or whatnot...Right now Noah LOVES
LOVES MICKEY.. Today one of my friends and nursery worker caught it
on film and sent me a nice compliment as well. My boy was surrounded
by girls but does he notice....NOPE
thats my boy....

Hey Darby,

Today I happened to have my camera with me at church to bring to Homegroup to show someone who also just got a new camera, and so I took a couple of pictures for you (since I know how you love to have photos!) of Noah in the nursery when he was in his Mickey coma because I just thought it was adorable and thought you would laugh at having a couple of photos. Out of the hundreds and hundreds of children I watched at Northland while I worked there, I don't think I've ever come across one who was as attentive and focused on the TV as he was this morning! He was a joy to watch too - I can't believe how well he is talking and communicates about everything! And he is very polite - says thank you after everything I gave him! Keep up the good work =)
