We went to the beach to see our friends the Gowins
for a relaxing weekend. They have a Christmas
parade every year that we got to see this year.















They throw lots of beads, candy and toys to the

Ellie's Christmas Program

Ok, I cannot figure out where she gets it, but Ellie
stole the show in her Christmas program this morning.
She walked in blowing kisses and waving to everyone
she saw while still ringing her little bell. I have never been
so proud and tickled at her flare for stealing everyone's
heart.

Sitting up

Well its official, he can sit on his own. Not even 6 months old yet. Well, we are in for a very active little man in the Blanchard household.



















Uncle Tetrick also gave Ellie this Elmo table of which
Noah thinks its the cats meow. The table is perfect height
for him to sit and play and make lots of noise. Ellie has
taken it upon herself to help him make the most of this
very noisy toy..THANK YOU UNCLE TETRICK!!!















He is loving the new freedom, especially in the bathtub.
Being able to sit up without help means a whole lot more fun than he realized.

Thanksgiving GOBBLE GOBBLE

Noah vs Big Bear

Ellie got Big Bear for her birthday last year. Noah was sitting down on the floor eyeing him one day so I decided to let them meet and see what Noah did.. First off, when I sat Noah in the middle of Big Bear he was not too sure of what this big brown furry thing was. He is working on sitting up without help so I let him go while in the confines of Big Bear... He loved it.. He sat there for a minute then sighed and leaned right back for a rest. After a few minutes of resting he rolled on to his belly intent on concuring the beast!!! He tried several times to eat Big Bear but just could not get it done... So soon big sis came in and joined the fun and they giggled for over an hour while climbing and playing with Big Bear.. Thanks Uncle Dennis and Aunt Cheryl for the fun!

Sparkling Water

Ellie has been learning about the indians all this month at school. Mrs Moran named her Sparkling Water as her indian name. This Thursday she brought home all the things she made throughout the month regarding the indians. Her indian headdress, necklace and drum was a huge hit. In fact she had some great songs to do for me on her drum. She also decided that Noah needed to try on the headdress and have a name of his own... Noah Sparkling Water Spider Man....

NO MORE BINKI

We have had a momentus event in Ellie's little life.. She decided to give up her binki on Nov 3 2006. Of course, Mama had promised one day when she did decide to give it up she could go and pick out a toy. So she did it a few days before Nana came to visit. We all have learned that Nana loves to shop (so does mama and now Ellie) so we decided to wait for Nana and then go shopping... Here is what Ellie picked out for giving up her binki,.. Noah's Baptism

We baptised Noah this weekend with everyone watching. Of course, mama was just praying for no spitting up on the pastor. As luck would have it, the pastor had a cold so we held Noah and he did the honors on Daddy and the floor. According to Nana, Andy did the same thing when he was baptised. So Noah followed in Dad's footsteps and spit up during his moment. All the family was there from Florida, the Etchisons, Seebers, Fitzgeralds and Gowins. Nana and Pops came in from Houston TX to be at the event. Grandee was not able to come nor was Aunt Jenn and Uncle Phil or Aunt Sara.. We missed them all but had a good time celebrating our little Noah. We all went out to brunch after the service to Perkins. What a clan of 18 we were, but it was fun.

A visit from Nana and Pops

Its always so much fun to have Andy's parents here for a visit. Ellie loves being with them as much as I do. Dad and Andy always do some sort of project around the house and Nana, Ellie and I always have so much fun shopping or doing girly things. This trip was for them to be here for Noah's baptism. Ellie and Nana had fun working on a project themselves with their goggles, playing puppies and reading books.

We also got to take Nana and Pops to see Ellie's school and meet her teachers. She loved showing them all around and telling them all the things she does while at school. Of course, Mrs Moran had some fun things to say to them about Ellie too. She is my social butterfly. Noah of course has changed so much since they saw him in September and was full of surprises for them too. He showed them in typical Noah fashion his ability to fill his drawers to the brim after a wonderful time jumping in the johnny jump up. ( of which daddy and mommy had to clean up after) Pops even got a taste of the fun just before he left... THAT IS MY BOY!!!

Pops and Andy we able to build a workbench in the garage for Andy and also make significant progress on Ellie's dollhouse. Maybe this year she will actually get it for Christmas.. Us ladies had fun shopping for Christmas and going to get our toes done.. ellie too

Tinkerbell Trick or Treat

My little Tinkerbell..
Ellie wanted to be Tink for Halloween this year. She looked so adorable in her costume. Mommy was supposed to dress up with her in her Tinkerbell costume, but it did not fit..(Too bad..NOT) We trick or treated a bit in our neighborhood and then went over to the Fitzgeralds and trick or treated with Abby and Ally. Aunt Mer added a bit of pixie dust to Ellie's face for fun. Noah had to sit this one out, but he will be ready to go next year... He did dress up a bit though in his Spooky Friends outfit and pumpkin hat...

Hilton Head

We took a short trip up to Hilton Head, SC to see Uncle Phil and Aunt Jenn while they were staying at their timeshare with Jenn's parents and their friends. It was a great time for "Grandma Cricket" as Ellie called Mom Prickett, to see her grandbabies. They had not seen Noah yet and Jenn & Phil since in June when Noah was
born. Grandma Cricket is having a chat with Noah. Of course the kids were spoiled rotten all around. Noah had fun hanging with the boys and learning the finer points of Jerry and Larry (its a long story)

The weather was wonderfully cool in the evening and warm in the daytime. Jenn took Ellie
swimming in the pool there at the resort and they had a wonderful fountain area for the kids to play in. Ellie had a blast. She loved being able to stick her foot on the various fountain heads and make some of the other ones spray taller than the others.

We also had a great time walking on the beach. Ellie saw a few horseshoe crabs (dead of course) but still interesting to look at... The water was very cold but Ellie still had fun running in and out of it with her toes.. We also were treated to a wonderful sunset. Nothing like spending some time with your kids, best friend and a beautiful view all at once.
