The Houston Zoo

Ellie took this shot of the orangatan and her

I have to say that there is one thing I wish we
had in Orlando and that is a good zoo.. I realize
we have Animal Kingdom but its not an actual
zoo with nothing but lots, and lots of animals..I
love going to the zoo with the kids... Noah was just
so taken with all the animals even though it was
blazing hot..

Ellie and Noah loved the giraffes because they were so close and you could almost reach out and touch them.. Of course both loved the Merry go round

Look at my new TENT!!!!

Grandee came for a visit and brought Noah a
new tent and Ellie a camping sleeping bag. the
kids had so much fun playing in it....

Sailing on Galveston Bay

One evening we all took a trip sailing in the
Galveston Bay. It was such a beautiful evening
after all the rain. Ellie and Noah love being in
the boat and on the water

Pool Time Fun

Once the sun finally came out, we all spent
most of our time in the pool. They have a
whirlpool and big pool.. We were in both non
stop

Rainy Day Blues

During most of our first week in Texas it rained,
and these 2 little ducks were the rainy day mascots
So when the rain got to us we decided to call for
reinforcements...
















We headed to Build-A-Bear one day when the
rain seemed that it would never stop.. Ellie loves
this place so much that I think we need to
start referring to our house as the home for wayward
animals from Build-A-Bear. Althought I must
admit I am sure these things are cheaper
than the real thing...














Noah made his first animal: a dog we named
BARK














Ellie of course got another dog: a poodle she
named Fluffy. This is her cleaning Fluffy and
Bark for Noah

New Crocs for ME!!!!

nana and pops pool deck is mostly
made from little pebbles so wearing
shoes is better than bare foot. So since
everyone else was wearing crocs, we
found some for Noah like Pops and
Ellie got some like mom

Our Texas summer trip

Sorry for the delay in getting some pictures posted all but we have been gone for 2 1/2 weeks to Nana and Pops in Texas. While the first weeks was mostly rain we did manage to get some time in the pool. Ellie is a fish but Noah is getting used to the water...Of course once he figured out the fun of it we could not get him out...

Nana and Pops (or anyone who would push him)

Today Noah is 1

I cannot believe this day is here and so fast. Today Noah turned 1 year old. He is just unbelievable. He is walking around like a pro and starting to say a few words. I am so blessed to have him as my son and sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe that its all real. There are so many things I love about him...
1. His infectious smile and hysterical laugh
2. His Mowgli smile that only comes out when he is getting into mischief
3. His insatiable desire to explore.
4. His cheeks, they are just too cute..
5. Love, Love, Love it when he points and says Mama or Dada
6. Wrestling with me and Andy
7. his love for being outside and especially when Andy is outside
8. Sweet spirit
9. his need to be with mama (I know this will only last so long)
1o. The way he wants to do everything with Ellie and she loves having him with her (now)

There are so many things I could go on and on, but today is just a reminder of how blessed I am with 2 children. One is turning 1 and starting all of lifes new joys like walking, talking and seeing things from an upright postion, the other is 4 and getting started with school, dance and making lots of new friends while her mama must watch on the sidelines and let her go... I cannot tell you all what a joy this thing called motherhood is.. I pray each one of you have a turn with it and enjoy it to the fullest. So Happy Birthday Noah!!!!!!!!!!!!! here is to lots more cake, laughing, and presents to open... I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK!! Mama

Presents, this just keeps getting better

airplane.. He loves Mickey Mouse and just
