3. snacks of varying kind for Ellie and Noah
4. a sippy cup for Noah with juice and a juice box for Ellie
5. Toys of all kinds
6. Tylenol and Motrin
7. Change of clothes for Noah
8. Purell or Bath n Body works hand sanitizer
9. glasses
10. "projects" from Ellie
11. Crayons, paper and books
12. candy of some sort always needed.
13. those smelly diaper bags to put stinky diapers in.

Today Noah is 1

I cannot believe this day is here and so fast. Today Noah turned 1 year old. He is just unbelievable. He is walking around like a pro and starting to say a few words. I am so blessed to have him as my son and sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe that its all real. There are so many things I love about him...
1. His infectious smile and hysterical laugh
2. His Mowgli smile that only comes out when he is getting into mischief
3. His insatiable desire to explore.
4. His cheeks, they are just too cute..
5. Love, Love, Love it when he points and says Mama or Dada
6. Wrestling with me and Andy
7. his love for being outside and especially when Andy is outside
8. Sweet spirit
9. his need to be with mama (I know this will only last so long)
1o. The way he wants to do everything with Ellie and she loves having him with her (now)

There are so many things I could go on and on, but today is just a reminder of how blessed I am with 2 children. One is turning 1 and starting all of lifes new joys like walking, talking and seeing things from an upright postion, the other is 4 and getting started with school, dance and making lots of new friends while her mama must watch on the sidelines and let her go... I cannot tell you all what a joy this thing called motherhood is.. I pray each one of you have a turn with it and enjoy it to the fullest. So Happy Birthday Noah!!!!!!!!!!!!! here is to lots more cake, laughing, and presents to open... I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK!! Mama

Presents, this just keeps getting better

airplane.. He loves Mickey Mouse and just
thought this was the best ever.

Our May Birthday/Graduation Bash

May was a busy month for us.. My twin brother
and sister graduated from High School on the
22nd and had their 18th birthday on the 24th..
Then Sammy (who was born 2 weeks before Noah)
turned 1 on the 25th. And finally Noah will be
turning 1 on the 9th of June,., So we decided
to do it all at once..

Boating with Noah and Ellie

We went to the beach for Mother's Day weekend
to our friends the Gowins. They have a wonderful
townhome on Anna Maria Island near Sarasota, FL..
We took the kids out on the boat for several hours
and had a blast..














Noah and Dad relaxing on the front of the boat.
He loved the fast moving part of the ride and
often took a few catnaps with Dad and mom...



















Ellie was nominated Captain for the
day and promptly decided that she
need to drive the boat.



















Noah wanted to see what all the fuss
was about...

Love crawling through anything, dirt...sand...grass NO PROBLEM

Noah is my all terrain boy... there is nothing that he minds crawling through..
We fenced in our back yard at our new home and thankfully so.. He loves
to be outside in the back crawling till his hearts content.. We recently filled
the sandbox with sand and you would have thought Daddy hung the moon for
Noah.. He is so happy... Ian, Noah says you gotta come try this.. Its fun!!!

Animals are fun

My nephew turned 3 this month and for his
party he wanted a petting zoo. Of course, that
means you actually need to spend time petting
the animals.. My kids (esp Ellie) were the ones
who loved the animals the most. Noah and Ellie
loved riding the horse.. Ellie rode it 6 or 7 times.
You go girl...some of the boys would not even
ride...(Thats my cowgirl)















Noah loved getting in the pen with all the smaller
animals.. They goats were adorable. they were only
4 months old. So much fun

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Pirates Life for Me

Dirt Is Good

Noah wanted to help Dad and Pops build the base
of the shed... He crawled right up into the dirt
and began digging..














Big sis came to help as well, but then Noah
found the hammer....oh dear














I can help too Dad, where do I bang this thing..

Swimming in the backyard

We got the swimming pool out this
weekend and the kids had a ball swimming.
It was gorgeous weather and while they
swam, Dad and Pops worked on a project

Noah's First visit to Magic Kingdom

We got passes for the Disney parks this month and
Nana and Pops came for a visit so we decided to
take Noah to Magic Kingdom for the first time with
them...















Ellie wanted to try and pull out the sword from
The Sword and the Stone.. She gave it a good
effort...now time for more rides...















Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride was the favorite
for both Noah and Ellie... Noah loved the spitting
camel and Ellie loved driving... Are we in for
trouble with her driving soon or what....AHHH
